Dean's Message

Dear Students,

The choice of profession is one of the most important decisions that a person makes throughout his/her life. You have decided to become a “lawyer” by choosing the law school. Therefore, welcome to the Akdeniz University Faculty of Law.

The discipline of law has been continuing its existence from the beginning to the present day for maintaining order in social life. In this process, as Akdeniz University Law School, our aim is to train competent and virtuous lawyers who are respectful to fundamental rights and freedoms on the basis of the universal principles of law.

To achieve this purpose, our academic staff who are successful in their fields, keep in touch with our students outside of class hours as well as during class hours, take care of them and support them in solving their problems. In addition, our Faculty has proven that it is an institution that provides consistent education from the past to the present with its studies.

In addition to the undergraduate education, there are postgraduate programs within the Institute of Social Sciences. Our Faculty, which closely follows social developments, has a curriculum with various courses in new branches of law such as climate, environment, informatics, technology, health and women's rights. Our library, located in our faculty building, is a valuable treasure for our students and researchers. In addition, our comfortable and quiet reading rooms where our students can use free internet, are at your service.

We are proud of the achievements of our students who have common mission and values with us.  We are happy to see new students among us. Welcome again.
